Dr. Maria Teresa Cook was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, and graduated with honors from the prestigious University of Bosque Dental School in 1992. She completed internships at the National Neurological Institute, Children’s Cardiology Institute, San Jose Hospital, and the Oncology Institute, gaining diverse medical experience.

After practicing dentistry for over five years, she moved to the U.S. and enrolled at Louisiana State University, where she earned her U.S. Dental License in 2004. Since then, Dr. Cook has worked in various South Florida dental offices, refining her expertise in cosmetic dentistry, implants, crowns, veneers, and root canals.

For the last five years, she has worked at the Center for Dental Implants in Aventura, collaborating with a renowned implant dentistry expert. Under his mentorship, she has advanced her knowledge in implant restorations and bone graft techniques, continuously improving her skills to provide cutting-edge treatment to her patients.
